You never know where people will find you
Thanks to Pruppert, word about our iTunes deduplicate script is spreading. He posted on the Mac World Forum and had an excellent write-up on how the script differed from previous scripts.
The surprise to us was how quickly Eric’s new post popped up on other places in the Internet. None of us know Pruppert from a random stranger; yet, he posted about us (and did an excellent job of writing about what it did) and generated a significant amount of traffic. Our website’s traffic doubled since the posting, and just under 50% of the traffic has been from that posting. While we don’t expect every blog post to hit like that and establish thought leadership, this shows the value of continuing to post blogs.
