One of our team members, Eric Pugh, had the distinct pleasure of being the co-author of the first book on Solr, currently one of the hottest technologies around:

Solr is passing the inflection point of becoming the defacto open source full text search engine, as evinced by adoption by non Java platforms such as Drupal, ColdFusion; and the bevy of companies that make up the ecosystem around Solr. I am very proud that every copy sold contributes 5% to the mission of the Apache Software Foundation!
